My thoughts on the Covid - 19 on the Navajo Nation
This pandemic of the corona virus has put the Navajo Nation in a lock down on the whole Nation, This coming from the Office of the President, our President Jonathan Nez and Vice President are doing everything they can to bring this serious attention to the Navajo Nation, they are out there in the Public, on the Radio, Media, New Paper, Social Media, talking about this virus that as of today March 26, 2020 has touched 49 lives now on the Navajo Nation and who knows and how many are out there that don't know that have this virus, this is the reason it's important to the Navajo People to know and understand this virus this is a deadly virus that has come into our mist.

A year of FOCUS a time of adjustments!
When you go see the Eye Doctor what happens? He adjusts your VISION.. makes the CORRECTIONS. Until you can see clearly.
We've come to live a life of CARELESSNESS Hebrew 2:1 "so we do not drift away"
Living a Fast life of Coming n Going, instant gratifications, side tract with today's Technology and sad to say even when it came to our family n children. NO family time.
Look around us now.. the WORLD has grounded to a HALT!
We serve a Mighty God!!
Inhabitants of the EARTH it's TIME for REPENTANCE!!
Halted for US to come together with our immediate families, that we be reminded of whats important in life.. also a time of searching our hearts in repentance.
Let us ALL make Jesus the FOCUS in our LIVES, JESUS.. son of the Living God.
God love us so much he GAVE His only begotten Son that we would have Life an more Abundantly.
What would happen if the WORLD Repented?..
That is a good word and how true that is...We have been on the run, come in go out and most of all we forget worshiping of God. to make the time for our lord and our God. for family time, for each child that we have. It made me to think...about each one of my babies, and praying for each one of them. and really coming to God in prayer and in worship. sitting down and reading his word,

"Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up". - James 4:10
** These are Powerful words and to some people these are a very hard thing to do to Humble yourself, most people don't want to be humble, They like to talk about them selves, just recently I was listening to some Pastor's talk while they were eating...Just sitting there listening about their work, their ministry, their job, all of them talking about what they are doing, how much money they are spending on a projects, their Revivals, getting new tents, their travels, and so on...
Some one asked me -What are you doing Brother Ron?...I answered doing kingdom business, Whatever the Lord wants me to do, I am doing....Just sat there enjoying my coffee and the company.... But Really my Pastor Friends were promoting them selves and making them selves look good, One I know wasn't doing to good was making him self look real good. I didn't say anything...Ego, I am always careful in what I say, We once had an Awesome teacher and Pastor that I believe taught very well, He sat most of us down and told us, "You must be who God made you to be", It's Not about you, it's all about God, all about Jesus, all about Holy Ghost, We once sat in a house in a bible study, about 40 people in the house, and Pastor Ernie Lister talking to us drilling somethings into our lives...he said to us "You are Not who you say You are, But who you are is demonstrated in the actuality of your life"...You can say one thing, But in reality your life is different then what you just said, teaching us the values of Who God made us to be...We are a Testimony of God..Take care of that!!...I can just hear him teaching now....Wow. That is Who we are Pastor Jerry Tom, and Tyda and I. We have been taught and we live by that still to this day. Let the Lord lead and open somethings in your life, and He will lift you Up.
Humble Your self before the Lord...and you'll see great things happen. "Amen"

Pastor's Banquet
Yesterday I attended a Minister's Banquet out in the middle of nowhere in a place call Red Mesa, AZ a tent was set up near the cliffs of a Red Mesa about 200 people came and about 25 pastor's came out for this banquet for all minister to show appreciations to all who are called of God on this Navajo Nation we were invited to attend they ask me to MC the event and ask Pastor Tom to Close in Prayer, It was good to see old friends, pastor's and musician that I have known for years it was a good day to see Pastor's get appreciated for the hard work and labor they have done each pastor that was present got a gift bag and a card, enclosed was a T-shirt and a gift card with $100.00 I thought as I sat there on the stage "These Pastor's have worked hard and long hours and most of them live out here in the middle of the Rez any nearest town is about 40 miles away some of them have live stocks and they have to haul water and water is about 10 - 20 miles away they live off the road , I thought must be hard when it rains or the winter time when it gets muddy some times we read in the papers about one to two feet of mud and how people get their vehicles stuck in the mud and their own personal life some have health issues and it's hard enough to live out here, and here we are, we live in town where everything is at our finger tips no problems just go in and out as we please, But these Pastor's live in hard conditions I don't think that we can handle (those of us who live in or near a city) and above all that they are working their churches and people and their problems ....Wow. And they are sitting right there in front of me these pastor who work so hard and very very little money comes in these are grass root people to most get only one check once a month. But they were happy to sit there and eat a wonderful meal and listen to other Pastor's like Pastor Jerry Tom, Pastor Tom White, Dr Nigel Big Pond, to come and bring words of encouragement to them. I thank the lord for a group of people a family who puts this event on every year for 34 years they have done this and they raise the money on their own to bless the Navajo Pastor's I thought they must have a heart and compassion, love for pastor's and ministers to do this. These Pastor were so encourage just to know that their work for God is appreciated so much.

What an Awesome Day - Pastor Tom's Celebration
What a wonderful time in the Lord and in fellowship with friends and relatives last night at our Pastor's celebration we had a big tent setup and with various bands came out to play, we had the owners of Churches Chicken and ACE Hardware stores on the Navajo Nation come and spoke words of encouragement to Pastor Tom, We had the Speaker of the Navajo Nation Council come and speak , Dr. James Davis came from Lake Isabella CA. come and gave word of encouragement to the people and, Pastor Tom White -Gallup,NM, Pastor Lynn and Lena Begay-Cohone Mesa, UT, Pastor Larry Harvey-Lukachukai, AZ, Pastor Mike Begishe from Page, AZ. and others came to encourage Pastor Tom it was an all day event and what a wonderful dinner we had "Bar-B-Q" dinner as I sat at the table with the Speaker of the Navajo Nation I watched him eat and enjoy the food and what good food we had as hundreds of people came out to celebrate Pastor Tom's 65th Birthday, and 43 years of ministry and the highlight of the evening was to hear Pastor Tom's old band the first Navajo Nation Gospel band back in the late 60's and early 70's The Chinle Galileans come back in a reunion after 40 years have come and gone the band came back to play that was awesome to hear, people came from all parts of the Navajo Nation to give honor to Pastor Tom after everything was all said and done after all the work that was put into the event sitting back drinking my coffee at 10:00 pm in the evening it was worth it all some people came from the very start of the event and stayed all the way through the day and evening kicking back and enjoying all the good music...There were different events going on all around us ....but people came out to give honor to a man of God, that was pleasing to my spirit to see that we did not leave the church til 12:30 am ....what an awesome day that was to be joined by friends
Reminds of a story I was reading about in the time of old when the Navajo people would come together for gatherings they would come not just for the one day event but would stay for many day to come they would camp out for 3 to 5 days they would enjoy the company of their relatives, sit down together around the camp fires and you would hear them laughing out loud and sometimes singing the old Navajo Songs, enjoy each others company, you would hear in the back ground the kids playing in the distance and the crackle of the cedar in the fire...ohh I am getting carried away now ...back to the story, I was reminded of that story, but now days we have vehicles that carry us home in mins, or hours but we are home the same day but never the lest we gather together to enjoy each others company and break bread together we have a motto in our dining hall and that is "Live , Laugh, Love" and this is what we did yesterday, writing this down in the early morning hours sitting here drinking my coffee enjoying the time I have with my thoughts on God .
Be Bless today.

Honor
Well today was a sad day and also a day of celebration , I sat in Gallup New Mexico in one of the local church here with about 300 people as we all gather for a funeral of a Pastor who passed on a couple days ago, many people came from a far and local to come and pay respect to a Man of God who has serve his people for such a long time in Ft.Defiance, AZ which is about 30 mins drive from Gallup, I thought this man has touch many lives for this many people to come to his service after the church service we all drove down to put him in the ground, there they did a military service with a 21 gun salute as they were calling his name Davis Roger ....Davis Roger.....Davis Roger no answer came back a solider was down and not coming back, was very emotional time for the family and as I look out into the crowd I saw many tears coming down and as they folded up the flag and gave to his wife ...Wow what a man this was who gave his life for his country and gave his life for the work of the kingdom of God , we all will face that time and we have to have honor when we go to know that we have done everything we could to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, that ...That type of honor would be place on us. God will bring us into the kingdom of God with thanksgiving and the angels will sing and shout for joy that we are honored by the most high God, afterward we went back to have lunch there was slide show of his life many wonderful time that...that family had with him and the work he did as a pastor of a church, we too must show approve of our lives and with our family that everyday is a day a snap shot is made of that day, how do we spend our days with our family and love ones , and how do we spend the day in service to our Lord and king Jesus Christ we are made to honor Him and in return He will honor us in the end.

"My Love"
My Beautiful wife and I celebrated our 30th Anniversary on August 28th, What a wonderful time we had at the church as the church put up a diner for us the whole church was decorated so beautiful with lots and lots of floral people came from 200 miles around friends and relatives came and celebrated with us the service was so good many people had tears rolling off their face as we spoke words of encouragement to all the couples in the church as we stood there in this beautiful place of worship and saying those words which I spoke 30 years ago I thought to myself...I Love Tyda more than ever before now at the time those words were just something to say to each other at the time not really thinking about it, but now after 30 years those words had weight it had meaning, and to say to each other til death do us part, how much love I have for my wife that I want to do more for her now than ever before, she is part of who I am and I am a part of who she is we are one in spirit thinking alike with the same mind set, Yes we have been through alot just like everyone else but through it all we are more stronger than ever now it was not an easy road we had to work at it, Marriage is an art we work through things we communicate we forgive and we love is marriage is an art, together we are building it's like a Navajo Rug when it is first started no one knows how this rug will look like but only in the mind of the designer and every yarn that goes into the rug and is tap down in the rug it is woven together the designs are place into the rug and when it is finish it is a beautiful rug worth thousands of dollar and many many months of work had been put into this rug and is placed on a wall for all to look at and enjoy Yes marriage is an art the word of God says "Love Your Wife" if you will love your wife she will love you back with so much compassion, I will love my wife to the end. There was a song in our teen years that we love called "The way I feel Tonight" by the Bay City Rollers, they played that song for us and we stood there holding each other and dancing our slow dance in the church...Yes in the church in front of all the people...I close my eyes and all the people disappeared and my mind went back 30 years and how much love and the way I feel back then came back for Tyda and as I held her close to me telling her how much I love her, tears rolling off her face, I thank God the Father for her and after the service we had diner and had fun in our dinning hall what a time with family and friends. No matter what happens stand your ground in your marriage fight against the power of enemy that is trying to destroy your marriage or relationship be kind and love your wife pray for her all the time she is your help mate she will stand by your side til death do you part ....and I say this with love

Well today is November 26th and yesterday we all worked hard bringing the Christmas tree and all the Christmas stuff down from the attic at the Church a bunch of us working together like little elves putting up the 12' tree and putting all the ornaments on the tree and putting the ceiling ornaments up we just made a mess at first but when everything is said and done the church was looking beautiful and it was beginning to look like Christmas just need the snow now (maybe later LOL) but it was nice that a bunch of church people working together to make the best of this Christmas season ...I know for many of us this year was a hard year and for some they have fought through this year but they were there working away having fun ...I could hear laughter as they put up the trees and kids playing and people talking, people brought food together and as we all ate lunch, yummy with good food on the table and everyone had their fill ...I was sitting there thinking these are good people coming together working like this no matter what they go through they are always there to help...we need more people like this , these are warriors in Christ Jesus they have fought the good fight of faith and they stand against the wilds of the devil, and they still stand...Christmas hummm. not about all the lights and gifts and ornaments ....but it's about Jesus to celebrate His birth ...it's about Him coming to This Earth and paying the price to redeem us ....Christmas bringing people closer together to love each other as Christ loves us. bringing that joy that only comes from Christ Jesus ...What an awesome time we had and after it's all done we all sat back and looked at our work and its was beautiful ...and after that we had more food and laughs...so this Christmas season you become that joy let it start with you no matter what you going through let that light shine from you ..because our Lord and Savior Jesus was born to bring the joy that comes from Him.

"Answer the Seeker's Questions"
Answer the Seeker’s QuestionsAugust 6, 2012 in General with 0 Comments
Over the past generation of church marketing, there’s been plenty of ink spilled over “seeker-sensitive” churches. Whether the movement and its outcomes have been good or bad is not the point of this article. Rather than deal with the seeker-sensitive church, this article deals with the seeker — the individual with questions — and how we should respond.
Who is the Seeker?
A seeker can be a person of any gender, in any age group, of any socioeconomic status, and of any background. Seekers consist not only of sophisticated suburbanites with college degrees, but of the underprivileged, the undocumented, the hipster, the social reject, the homeless, the religious, the pagan, the Buddhist, the Muslim, and everyone in-between. In a word, the seeker is any one who seeks “what can be known of God…because God has shown it to them” (Romans 1:18). Every human being has an innate desire to know, to understand, and to grasp knowledge of who God is. To seek is to be human.
Understanding the Seeker
God answers the questions. We are all seekers, everyone of us. What’s the difference between we who are convinced of truth, and those who still seek? First off, there’s nothing innately special about us that qualified us to be in the know, and to possess saving faith. “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God” (Romans 3:10-11). The ultimate answers to our seeking questions are impossible to draw from our intellect. We must receive truth by faith from God himself. This is the first realization to which we must own up. God is sovereign, and he is the only one who can supply the answers. Ultimately, “the answer” is the Holy Spirit who awakens our hearts, and God’s gift of faith.
Additionally, there are two things we must admit about seekers:
So, how does this look, practically? When it comes right down to it, what do you do with, say, Bill, a fifty-something, thrice-divorced, alcohol-addicted, down-and-outer who “tried religion and it didn’t work.” You see him on the street corner every morning, holding his cardboard sign. He has questions. What about Sue, an multimillionaire financial manager whose Buddhist “faith” has disappointed her, as she watches her family and financial life crumble around her. Surely, she has questions.
What do you do when you’re face to face with real people who have real questions?

God is sovereign, and he is the only one who can supply the answers. Ultimately, “the answer” is the Holy Spirit who awakens our hearts, and God’s gift of faith.
Additionally, there are two things we must admit about seekers:
- People have questions. We must realize that people have questions. They may not verbalize them. They may not even know what to ask or how to ask, but the questions linger. Some people may express their questions in the form of accusations, even seeming rude and antagonistic in the way they do so. Some people express their curiosity by trying to appear disinterested. No one has all the answers. Therefore, everyone has questions of some sort.
- People need answers to their questions. If everyone has questions, then everyone needs answers. Note, however, that not everyone wants answers. Most of the time, people are determined to seek “truth” on their own terms, in their own strength, and by their own predetermined set of standards. God’s truth, however, is often not what most people want. Nonetheless, everyone needs answers to their questions. Why? Because the answers to their questions are an issue of life or death — heaven or hell.
- Listen first. Then ask questions. Listen some more. Then try to provide answers. In that order. Your first responsibility is to understand them, theirquestions, and their way of thinking. This is essential. Don’t skip this step.
- Don’t give pat answers. “The Bible says so,” and “the mind of the Lord is unsearchable” are fine and good statements. But often, these statements are used improperly. Often, such pat phrases are used when the person attempting to answer the question doesn’t know the answer, but is trying to pretend that he does. There are some questions that can be answered with “the Bible says so,” but usually, people are looking for the answers to deeper questions. They deserve more thoughtful answers.
- Prove what you say. If you make a claim, back it up. Wispy vestiges of sweet-sounding knowledge snatched from the vacuous realm of your own mind do not constitute truth. Truth is backed up by proof or divine declaration. Your source of proof is God’s Word. When people want answers to questions not directly addressed in Scripture, you can continue to provide evidential arguments and sound logic.
- Admit when you’re stumped, and study if you don’t know the answer.Honesty is far better than faking it, especially in the deep issues of life. Rather than concoct your own answer to a question that you don’t understand, be honest and own up to your inability. There are books, there are smart people, and there are resources to which you can turn. Simply because you don’t know something doesn’t mean that the seeker shouldn’t ask. No questions are off limits, even if your knowledge does have limits.
- Understand the limitations of knowledge. There’s a point at which our minds are unable to surmount the ultimate questions of life. Regardless of whether you subscribe to an evidentialist approach to apologetics or a presuppositional worldview, you must admit that knowledge alone cannot completely satisfy our deepest questions.
- Know when to stop. Some people will badger you with questions until you the day you die or the moment you lose consciousness. Such people may derive a perverse pleasure from hurling questions that have no answers, and gloating in the squirming embarrassment of their interlocutor. At some point, you’ll have to kindly close down the conversation and spend your time doing something more profitable.
"The Great Awakening going to Explode"
Picture the hustle and bustle of New York City in the middle of the workday. It’s noon. Thousands of people are walking from their places of work to a church or to a coffee house, storefront, or bar. There, they gather for prayer. All across the city, tens of thousands of people are praying, crying out to the Lord for healing, for cleansing…for revival. Can you imagine this scene taking place in New York City today?
It happened in the past. From the late 1800s to the early 1900s, a huge awakening swept the country. Millions heard the gospel. Evangelists proclaimed truth to vast crowds. America flourished into a missionary-sending nation. God’s Spirit was at work.
Is that kind of awakening going to happen again? Ever? When is the next great awakening going to explode?
Another Great Awakening? For generations, Christians have been praying for revival and awakening. Gratefully, God is at work. All across the world, there are victories being won and souls being saved. Huge church growth has taken place in many African and Asian nations. However, many have lamented that God has neglected America and other western nations. They fear that our sin and rejection has signaled the end of Christianity in this region of the world. Others, however, pray fervently for an awakening — for the next great awakening.
When will these prayers be answered? When will a fresh flood of souls come into the kingdom? Will there be another missions movement?
Evangelism: Past and PresentIn past generations, evangelism took place on a massive scale. In the early American revivals, people would construct large pole barns and tents for throngs of people to hear the revivalist preachers. Evangelists such as Whitefield and later D.L. Moody would speak to crowds of thousands of people, hosting multi-day revival services. God used these evangelistic movements to bring many to himself.
No one can argue that we live in a world vastly different from Whitefield and Moody. Advances in technology have shaped our culture. Information transfer occurs within different thought paradigms, and often through different means. Mass meetings, while not entirely to be disregarded, are probably not the ideal form of evangelism. Also disadvantageous is the time-honored tradition of door-to-door evangelism, by which Christians would systematically enter neighborhoods to go directly to people’s homes with the gospel. Though not entirely without merit, such practices are probably less than an ideal use of resources in most American subcultures and settings.
One strategic location of evangelism is the workplace. Evangelism is conducted best in areas where Christians live and have personal interaction with nonbelievers. Evangelism through technology and broadcasting has its place, but will probably never totally replace in-person conversations. Relationships formed in the workplace and communities provide the best and most helpful place for gospel encounters to take place.
Obviously, Christians should never be guilty of stealing from their employers by neglecting their work in order to give the gospel from cubicle to cubicle. Decorum and honesty are important in evangelism, just as in any other sphere of life. Christians should live their faith out loud, never neglecting opportunities to speak of their faith, to prove their committment to God, and to point to Jesus Christ.
The Recipe for Revival: Prayer and EvangelismEvery Christian has a responsibility to pray and evangelize. No, we cannot fabricate revival on our own. That is why we pray. That is why we obey Jesus’ command to spread his teachings to others. If another great awakening is to take place, it is going to happen in the context of personal relationships. Are there unsaved and unreached people near you? Wherever you are today, you can begin to light a small fire to launch a great awakening.
Dr. J. D. Greear, pastor and church planter said,
If you study what’s going on around the world, it seems that the next wave of missions is not gonna happen through a lot of professional church planters. It’s going to happen by people who use their business and leverage their business to get in to places where they can just share Christ with people – through the normal business relationships.
A cursory reading of the book of Acts demonstrates that the Holy Spirit grew the early church by means of fervent prayer and passionate abandon. Church history displays this same pattern. We cannot manipulate the Spirit into creating a revival, nor can we manufacture revival on our own. What we can and should do is obey.
Christ promised, “I will build my church” (Matthew 16:18). Then, he later commanded us, his followers, “Go therefore and make disciples” (Matthew 28:19). Let us live out the gospel in our cities, suburbs, workplaces, shopping centers, and schools. Let us not shrink from declaring the life-giving gospel of Jesus. Let us be obedient, prayerful, and hopeful. God can launch the next great awakening
My Thoughts...."Who are You"
"You are not, who you say you are, But who you really are, is demonstrated in the actuality of your Life" "This is a powerful statement, You see it does not matter how long you pray, or what Committee you are in, or how long you have been a Christian or saved! But what you believe in will be demonstrated in your everyday life, who you really are will be shown and people around will know you By Your Actions and what you are saying". So who are you?, Well let's talk with some people around you and find out.!!
I guess much can be said also about people that come with intentions of trying to do work or ministry here on the Navajo Nation over the years we have encountered many ministries or people that come on the Navajo Nation with the intention of ministry and helping but in the course of their journey something always happens and work is never finish or the work has become defiled organizations come they promise many things I have talk with many that come in the name of our God and promise many things but we never see any of those promise come to pass, Pastor's come, Overseers come, churches come they see the needs out here they go back and fund raise in the name of Native American outreach Fundraising and they raise the money and I believe in the thousands even hundred thousands and Where dose it go? ...Wow, I know so because this happened again even in the higher ups even in the Church of God organization (sad to say) "Who are you" the so call Fat Cats (I would call them would come) and promise our Navajo people take their pictures and tape their video's raise their funds and forget about who help them get their money and nothing is ever done here I am sick and tired of these types of people who come they do more damage then to help. "Who are You" there are Navajo pastor's who really need help the people that come here with these type of intention never ever see how life is here and the hardship they have in an everyday life. and here they are they sit in their comfortable offices, and homes, flip out their cards not really giving second thoughts about having to sacrifice something else, they come out here to our beautiful country being a tourist and we guide them around seeing just what they want to see and not seeing what the real needs are here, how many times will this happen again and again who will say something about it, "These people are not who they say they are" I think when they see and feel money in their hands something happens to the spirit. I know of a person just not to long ago went out fundraising on his way back this person bought a $40,000,00 truck...wow said he needed this for his ministry out here but what about the other 2 trucks he had...wow only because he really wanted this big truck money that was giving to help the Navajo people went to a truck ..wow "Who are you?" If you are going to come on the Navajo Nation to help then I believe that people, ministry, churches should come to help and not make their money on us and never see you again. Remember that you have a Boss over you that will judge you for what you do.
